Tamara Leniew

Tamara discovered her talent for training and educating over 25 years ago when she was the Education Coordinator at CMHA in Halton. In 2001 she became an ASIST Trainer and later a safeTALK Trainer. Fully immersing herself in Suicide Prevention through her various mental health roles she settled in Hamilton to raise her children. Despite her change in various roles in the non profit sector, Tamara continued to provide ASIST and safeTALK and other suicide related talks throughout her community, anywhere, anytime. Her message has been clear, we need to talk about suicide! Over 250 workshops delivered has provided her with vast experience and has allowed her to become an expert in presenting these LivingWorks trainings.

Now, as Owner of Beyond the Classroom Hamilton Mountain, Tamara’s focus is on parents, children, friends, family, EVERYONE!
